Elon Musk said that he would likely vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, for president in 2024.

Musk was asked early Wednesday morning on Twitter who he was "leaning towards" voting for as president, and he responded: "DeSantis."

He made the comment after he was asked if he would vote for a Republican for president, and he said "tbd," or to be decided.

Elon Musk is registered to vote in Cameron County in the Rio Grande Valley. He tweeted yesterday that he cast his First Republican Vote in his life for Republican Mayra Flores for Congress. The Musk SpaceX is located in Cameron County in the Rio Grand Valley. Quite feather in Mayra’s cap to get that endorsement.

He said he was leaning not likely. He might. Maybe. I suppose Musk is like a lot of Americans in wanting to see if DeSantis is just a mini-Trump signing virtue signaling legislation for the attention of the culture warriors on the right, or a serious candidate with actual policies that would benefit the nation.

His vote has the same power as the next.
Hope he doesn't have to give a blood sample, his family tree, his birth certificate and a DNA sample to cast a vote. That could take awhile.

In every interview I've ever seen of his he's been quite moderate and rational in his explanations of how he thinks and what he is doing.

For instance, I've never seen him try something so ridiculous as to discount someone solely based upon their fathers occupation.

I hope this endorsement helps encourage DeSantis to run. He’s the best option.

Elon is a megalomaniac who buys into his own vainglorious marketing hype. All he cares about is making more $$$, whichever candidate will give him the concessions will get his favours.
