I've heard, bugs are already offered in European restaurants.

But that's not the point to the post and what Gates et al want to accomplish. Noticed all that cheat-chat about coming food shortages and famine? Well, if you invested into say locust proteing or meat from .... (fill the blank) then you, also, have to have market for it. So if all the cattle is slaughtered because it produces methane, then that has to be somehow substituted. Right?

Anyone remembers O'Henry story about Jeff Peters and Andy Tucker in one of them southerns counties, where no one was wearing shoes and yet, some idiot investor shows up to sell shoes and has ALL of his money invested into it? Opened store, slanted to go broke? Until those to con men decide to help him, for some reason and, hired some locals to spread some sort of very spiky local fruit in the streets. So all locla folks could not walkl bearfoot anymore and guy sold out all his shoes in a day?

That's how you create market. Global market. Rid of natural food, create demand for your investment.

You bet your a$$. And now he's buying up all the farmland - along with the Chi-Commies.

I hear they're going to construct a shrine to Jeffrey Epstein in the form of a new island - this time in the middle of an Iowa corn field.

Weird.
True, but no different than Elon Musk the moment he tried to buy Twitter. He went from EV darling to white supremacist in the blink of an eye. (Please don't deny that last narrative, it happened.)

The problem is that the far left and far right are essentially morons. They're largely unable to process nuances once anything become remotely political.

It's like sports fans. You can literally have a player in the NFL on replay grab a guy by the facemask and whip a guy down and there is always some fringe fan that's like "It looked clean to me, dang refs!".

I have no problem eating bugs, as long as it’s not just putting a whole bug in my mouth and eating it, which is just too gross for me. But perhaps grinding it all up into a powder and making it into a protein drink or a protein bar seems reasonable.

yes, he got rich from capitalism but why is it weird that people don’t want an agenda forced upon them by some billionaire? or should we all be like lockstep liberals and want to use the force of government for anything we don’t like?

Billionaires use the force of money to impose their agenda. It’s what they do.

Money is power. People with power are going to use it to get what they want.
