Fair point.

The USSR basically murdered their people.

The Sri Lankan govt. will end up killing many due to incompetance and a desire to make a massive countrywide green movement change without testing it on a smaller scale.

Still, people will end up dead from this but it's less pre-meditated.

I think a lot of the posters here miss how bad what the Sri Lankan govt. did because of either their goal or their utter lack of farming knowledge.

That being said, we have posters here that will cry their eyes out about "anti-science" and then go rant about GMO's.

Anybody starving here yet?

We had a food riot at my store the other day, a 2 year old wanted a candybar and through a tantrum over it.

Just trying to keep up with the endless conspiracy hyperbole before you guys abandon the thread and pretend that yet again, another apocalyptic prediction didn't occur.

Oh cool, I can still make out some German. Those Barilla noodle prices are catching up to the U.S. prices. (I wonder what the ingredients are over there... shouldn't be much more than wheat or egg + water, as opposed to a list of chemical compounds).

Bill Gates and the CCP buying up huge tracts of farmland. You can bet he's planning a famine like he did the pandemic.

I don't believe a single word of these conspiracies that are promoted. There is no one in change and the world food supply is not being manipulated by some James Bond type villain character.

There will be fuel shortages in one place and food shortages in another and things will get pretty gnarly for some countries who have shortages of one or the other. But it is all a lot more serendipitous than some of these wild-eyed posters like to think.

China is not "buying up the world's arable land".

3 issues mentioned during the 2020 WEF I do see happening in the US since Biden took office

- equity and inclusion must be The primary objective
- accelerating climate change action
- a world accepting of migrants

Does it make any difference if they die by Holodomor or by incompetence? They're still dead. And I don't believe for a second it's the latter (incompetence.)

The solution to a government official taking your property is simple... knife to the abdomen. It's typically 100 people for every law enforcement official... when the time comes they will not be able to control their citizens if they have balls and stick up for their rights... one reason authoritarian governments start from birth making citizens obedient towards authority. The constant struggle between those in charge and the rest of us continues, never ending.

I can really almost understand the WEF's point of view... we are going to have a real climate problem going forward if the entire world is hooked up to the grid, consuming animal flesh, burning fossil fuels. The biggest threat will be desertification from deforestation in tropical climates. If they really cared about feeding the people though, why use corn for car fuel?

As far as billionaires buying land, it's only theirs if they can defend it, and the government remains solvent. It's very likely at some future point there will be a real "great reset" where the WEF and globalist elites lose total control, as opposed to their version which is basically an authoritarian police state. Our leaders are smug and overconfident. They are always blatantly showing the fact the rules don't apply to them. It will be their downfall.

This stuff has been going on since well before "The population Bomb" of the 1970's.

We just keep getting new thread after new thread with posters dropping the old thread like a pair of soiled underwear....um...well that never happened.

What happened to all the empty shelves and food plants burning to the ground? Womp. Womp.
