One of the FDA’s jobs is to carefully evaluate the scientific data on a drug to be sure that it is both safe and effective for a particular use. In some instances, it can be highly dangerous to use a medicine for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 that has not been approved by or has not received emergency use authorization from the FDA.

The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 in people or animals. Ivermectin has not been shown to be safe or effective for these indications.
There’s a lot of misinformation around, and you may have heard that it’s okay to take large doses of ivermectin. It is not okay.
When does Big Tech deal with the misinformation spread by the government?
However, people have become so convinced that ivermectin is a cheap and readily available “cure” for COVID, they continue to take it against all medical advice and common sense.
People haven’t opted for this debunked treatment strategy on their own. COVID misinformation can be found just about everywhere, especially on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The use of ivermectin has been recommended by doctors who promote bogus cures and vaccine misinformation, and podcast host Joe Rogan, who has millions of listeners, said he took the drug for COVID, among other treatments.
Somewhere along the line the CDC quietly added it for suggestive therapeutics.
Is that the one that they also give to horses and leftists insisted that means humans cannot take it? Or am I thinking of the fish bowl cleaner that some women killed her husband with because she heard on CNN that Trump told people to drink it?

All six of us took Ivermectin. Even the lone vaccinated one. Of the six, all were mild cases with the vaccinated one having the most difficult time. The three of us that had the original variant have never experienced reinfection despite no precautions. The remaining three experienced presumably Delta and subsequent Omicron infections.
Finally. Every msm member that demonized the drug, users and efficacy needs to be called out. Kiss butt with the regime should be proven wrong. There was enough information out there at the time to pursue treatment options with the drug.
if you read it, it says it's being EVALUATED as a treatment.
"Although there have been many ivermectin studies, only a few trials have been adequately powered, well-designed, and well-conducted. More recent clinical trials address the limitations of earlier studies but fail to show clear evidence that ivermectin reduces time to recovery or prevents COVID-19 disease progression. For this reason, and because several medications now have demonstrated clinical benefit for the treatment of COVID-19, the Panel recommends against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19, except in a clinical trial (). Additional adequately powered, well-designed, and well-conducted trials are needed to evaluate the effect of ivermectin on COVID-19. The Panel will continue to review emerging data on ivermectin use, including the results from 2 large, ongoing randomized controlled trials."
There are few drugs that can seriously lay claim to the title of ‘Wonder drug’, penicillin and aspirin being two that have perhaps had greatest beneficial impact on the health and wellbeing of Mankind. But ivermectin can also be considered alongside those worthy contenders, based on its versatility, safety and the beneficial impact that it has had, and continues to have, worldwide—especially on hundreds of millions of the world’s poorest people.
