We have supply issues which is why oil prices went way up. If Biden did not do this there would be chatter from the right that he wants high oil prices. I think this was the correct move. Prices have gone down. That is good for the country. I care more about what is good for the country than scoring partisan political points. If the dems benefit a little politically who cares.
Joe Bidden is only doing it to fool us into believing that so he can try and buy votes in hopes dems gain more seats in senate to get rid of fillibuster and hope to hold onto the house so they can shove the green new deal down our throat then ban all fossil fuels and ICE engines and other things in legislation within next 5-10 years.

Do not be fooled. He would sign such a bill if somehow the dems have control of both chambers of congress and they can rid the fillibuster after November 2022 results and such pass such evil makes me throw up legislation.

Do not be fooled. He is a puppet and turned to evil socialist being strung along by his party. He is not near the moderate democrat of way way way past years.

That's the only reason he is doing this.

Huh? Not sure what you were trying to say. Your translation software is not working well. Politicians do things for political reasons. Nothing new with that.

Correct because if this information were true, it would be reflected in the price of oil today surging higher, not 22 days from now.

Current Oil selling price accounts for futures market of supply/demand, as assessed by the facts known as of today and now (pertaining to past present and future projections as of right now).

Future oil price change from current oil prices are based on new information not yet known today that changes the equation from the current expectations. Given oil prices haven’t surged additionally, the fear of supply shortage is not present in net aggregate opinion.

How's that working out so far?

It took the Nazis 5 years of WW2 before there were finally some generals who had enough and tried to get rid of Hitler.

We probably should reopen keystone pipeline and get those jobs going. We need to be smart here. The environment is important not saying it isn’t, but if we don’t have energy we don’t have money and if we don’t have money we can’t invest in alternative energy so it’s kind of the same strategy as in NFL football if the opposing team is Pollution and you want to win the climate change battle , and tapping into oil is moving backwards but needed to keep money going so we can do anything else ….. it’s like why the Quarterback backs up before looking for an opening to make a pass or run the ball forward.

Yes true and it is beyond disgusting and evil!! I am just pointing out people should not fall for this and vote for GOP in November or else severely risk a ban/defunding of oil/fracking/drilling/gasoline causing prices even worse than what we saw 1-2 months ago (Oh they are still extremely high now BTW). Or even worse an outright fossil ban and ICE car ban and then we get rolling blackouts and no car ownership with only EVs around no one can afford and charging times tasking the grid down. And reverse discriminations, socialism, bans on private health insurance and much more control over us. Make no mistake about it. That's exactly the far left's agenda!!

Votes. That is your answer in a nutshell. It's all about buying votes, knowing full well that the voting public has short memories. He'll keep draining the strategic reserves right up to election day.
