the slow democrat-sponsored destruction of CA continues.

The Golden State is losing its luster. A troubling new report labels physical and sexual violence in pandemic-era California a statewide “epidemic.” To put it simply, violence is on an alarming rise.

According to the new annual report from the California Study on Violence Experiences across the Lifespan (CalVEX), violence statistics have seen a significant increase since COVID-19 emerged. The report, conducted by scientists at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, reports more than one in six Californians (18%) experienced either physical or sexual violence in just the past year. Meanwhile, one in every 25 Californians experienced intimate partner violence.

From the article...

The report also notes that both socially and economically vulnerable Californians, such as Latino and Black communities, LGBTQ communities, people with a history of homelessness or incarceration, or people living with a disability, experience more violence than other residents. Experiencing financial distress, like facing eviction or food insecurity, is linked to a two to eight times increased risk of violence.

Liberal lockdown policies and economic strategies... food supply issues contribute to increased risk of violence.

If you have compassion for people, no more lockdowns... improve the economy... fix the food supply issues.

The covid response which included among many other damaging things, letting people who committed crimes who should have gone to jail, go on their way with a ticket served to embolden criminals. Couple that with the anti -police rhetoric which included destructive riots that were allowed to go on and on and on and we have a crime problem.

Shocking.

One out of SIX???

And yet so many people seem to think that it is more important to make sure that prisoners are allowed to choose their sex and be given sex change surgery, if they request it that it is to try to reduce crime. https://abc13.com/prison-sex-change-...ciated%20Press.

And yet some people wonder why California has the reputation it does!
