This is why conservatives hate the GOP establishment.

We call it the "uni-party" because you have the Dems who are socialists and the GOP who are socialist-light. This is why conservatives understand that the entire government is corrupt from top to bottom, including the power-mad greedy pigs of the Republican Party.

Conservatives have no representation in congress except for 6 or 7 guys who are marginalized from actually accomplishing anything to rein in big government.

This is why I harbor no hope for the future, and why I was thrilled to have Trump be a 4-year speed bump in the way of our inevitable race toward totalitarian socialism. It was nice while it lasted.

Liberals are lucky. They love leftist Democrats. I hate the GOP.

Both parties represent the opposite side of the same virtually worthless coin. A wooden nickle with Biden's crap eating grin on one side, and Mitch McConnell's turtle head slowly reaching for a pile of burning money on the other.

Absolutely ridiculous. Why does ‘COVID’ (one of the items McConnell mentions) still need ‘funding?’ And we know that when Democrats talk about COVID funding, they really want a situation where a small portion of that funding is actually used toward whatever is stated as its intended purpose, while the rest of it is wasted elsewhere.

I need a new poll. What year will the national debt hit $40 trillion? We have blown past $31 trillion before this "omnibus" is past. This will probably add another $1.5 trillion to the national debt.

I am wondering how much it will set aside for back pay for delinquent student loans.

And there few actual conservatives.

No actual conservative would vote for Trump. Trump isn't conservative.

One of the reasons that Trump isn't conservative ties into the point you are making with this thread.

Trump didn't veto any of the bloated Omnibus spending bills that were sent to him.

Who should they have voted for??? Biden???

With your logic, they would have to either boycott the election or vote third party. Most people just pick the lesser of two evils, with the understanding that no politician or political party is perfect.

how much will ever be enough?

Final omnibus funding bill includes $45B for Ukraine
Quote:
The massive full-year government funding bill released early Tuesday contains $45 billion in new emergency funds for Ukraine in its battle against Russian forces, nearly 20 percent higher than the Biden administration requested.

The final amount, included in the year-end, must-pass omnibus bill, means Ukraine will get $8 billion more than the $37 billion President Biden asked Congress for last month.

But the final, 4,155-page package ultimately covered the supplemental aid for Ukraine in addition to the 12 annual spending bills for every federal agency.

The bill still must be passed by the House and Senate and signed by Biden, but should it happen by year’s end, total U.S. military, humanitarian and economic assistance to Ukraine will tick past more than $110 billion in 2022.

Biden said he would spend whatever it takes to protect Ukraine's border.
World democracy hinges on protecting Ukraine's border.

Also probably has to make up for Ukraine's FTX losses.
