It is because they get a % of all they spend....the more they spend, the more they personally make...over the long haul....it doesn't happen overnight...they have to cement their loyalty to the DC Kings.

If we ran our households the way the Feds run this country we would be living in a van down by the river.
Where is the accountability with these bozos?
I disagree, we could not afford to keep the Van.

If anyone thinks that we can make cuts alone to balance the budget let's hear the proposal.
Waste money so the government needs to steal more of yours.

I would ask what you were thinking......if you were at all.

100 billion dollars stolen from the taxpayers of this country and given away to Ukraine

And we got people in this thread who think our biggest problem is Donald Trump

What a joke

How do you think tax law happens? By magic? Accident? Divine intervention? Nope. Someone writes/submits a bill, it gets sponsors, it goes to committee, it gets debated there and if passed, goes to the floor of the House. It gets debated, amended, altered, rewritten, etc...and if it passes, then it goes to the Senate for more of the same. Etc etc until it makes to the President to sign off.

They all had a hand in the law as written. All Trump or any other citizen can do is follow the law as written or violate it. What you call a loophole is nothing more than following a provision within a written law. Don't hate on Trump and other rich people for being better at the game of thrones called "taxes."
Thanks, had to explain this very thing quite a few time......reality as opposed to rhetoric.

I suspect the House Republicans will be telling Biden spending must be cut. He'll have a sad day.

Its actually both, but not surprised by the poll on “City Rightwing agenda Data”
Let’s just let the top 1% not pay their fair share of taxes while I struggle to mine.
On the hand “Hey I’m broke, let me keep spending money on defense and pork barrels with no real revenue coming in to cover it”

I'd say it's about 60% spending (and trending upward) and 40% tax revenue.
