The Office of Special Counsel found that Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra violated federal law.
Special Counsel Henry Kerner sent a letter to President Biden regarding his HHS secretary’s violation of the Hatch Act by publicly expressing support for California Democrat Senator Alex Padilla’s re-election while appearing in an official capacity.
The Hatch Act prohibits federal employees from using their official authority or influence to affect the outcome of an election.
It's no wonder why there is very little trust in the election process anymore. Whether the fix is in or they've violated federal law, the Democrats just don't care if an election is fair or not.
Congress should probably subject themselves, as well and the President and VP and all elected officials, to the Hatch Act. That way they wouldn't be spending half their time campaigning for those in their party, but instead doing the job they were elected to do.
Doesn’t matter as there will be no consequences for it.
Besides, the adults are back in the room now and doing a heck of a job!
