Operative word being competing. Non-competitive age groupers aren't competing with anyone but themselves, so again, can't see why anyone would care about it other than they are transphobic.

You can’t see anything other than your narrative than to label people transphobic, and men certainly are competing in women sports, unless you’re saying this is fake news, and it’s just one example…and in regards to forgetting to sign up for the non-binary position, not buying it…and there’s certainly women not happy about competing against men due to an unfair advantage. Are you calling them transphobic also?
Are those 14,000 women okay with getting beat by a man who started identifying as a woman just a few weeks ago? I think it would be comical if more male athletes did this just to prove a point on how idiotic this whole trans thing is.
I see all the resident righties didn't notice that this trans person came in 6160th among the women. He/she still has work to do before you guys take pride in him/her.
Uh, the headline on the OP is completely bogus. Dude/ess didn't "win" the London Marathon.
Other things of note about the London Marathon.
First woman came in 20th overall. There were 42K runners. 22K men and 20K women.
The race had a non binary section... 88 people participated. The reason the female runner complained is that the one trans dude you all are so "proud of" didn't sign up for the non binary division and instead ran as a woman.
The more reasonable people have been requesting that they have non binary teams/divisions etc. This trans didn't comply. Ran as a woman. Ya'll usually don't go for that.
what is your point? Why did she need to sign up for the non-binary? SHE IDENTIFIED AS A WOMAN, NOT NON-BINARY. The female runner who complained is transphobic

TBH - no one real checks your sex in terms of such events, however the trans runner was not a biological female and as such should BE excluded from the female category.
Whilst trans individuals can identify as a man or woman, they can not change their actual sex related to male and female, and in terms of not identifying properly this could be deemed misrepresentation.
I am sure the athletics authorities in Britain, who often take a different view to their US counterparts, will be looking to close at closing any such loopholes in relation to entry standards.
