If the US falls what goes down with the ship? Countries I like include Mexico, Chile, Hungary, Spain, Georgia, Portugal, Thailand and Malaysia.

It's a very large country with significant power held by the states. The US would likely regionalize and where I live I'll likely be fine, so no need to go anywhere.
