"New Mexico parents are outraged as state lawmakers have passed a series of bills allowing minor children the right to receive sex change services and abortion services without their knowledge or consent,"
I'm confused we've been told by Progressives that no doctor would ever perform "Gender Affirming Care" that would include surgeries on minors.
If it isn't happening and no doctors would do this, why create a law that says they can? Doesn't NM have better and more important things to focus on instead of trying to play to their political base?
I think at the very least parental consent should be required. Bad law, yes. Pure evil no. The left calls your side evil for fighting to keep the 2nd amendment. 19,000 innocent children die or are wounded each year from firearms.
Look I am a huge 2nd amendment supporter but I am not running around condemning lefties for things they allow that potentially harm children when I realize guns harm children too. You should not throw rocks from your glass house.
And lets look at the numbers. Latest I have is 2021. 56 gender genital surgeries in the USA for children under 18 in the USA. 56 compared to 19,000. Will there be any actually occurring in New Mexico? Probably not. What is more evil. 56 or 19,000?
For example, if you are born in a female body but have always been male in your head, a sex change operation is natural for the majority of folks in these categories.
People don't wake up one day and get "convinced" to get sex changes. They are born this way.
Healthcare access to make these changes if necessary, are needed. These people need full, happy lives, and deserve to be respected.
Why are you afraid of people who are different? lol
Who said anybody was "afraid"?
