For example, if you are born in a female body but have always been male in your head, a sex change operation is natural for the majority of folks in these categories.
People don't wake up one day and get "convinced" to get sex changes. They are born this way.

This is about kids though! We as a society have a duty to step up and protect the children. This is why we made female genital mutilation illegal (it's a barbaric procedure that is practiced in many Islamic countries under the guise of religion).
