So. All those allegations, that were poo-poo'd by the media and were only a conspiracy theory, turned out to be true. If the DOJ does its job the way they should, good old dad should be next. I don't like crooks governing this country. 'Course, trying to find one that isn't is pretty difficult.

No the conspiracy theories are still conspiracy theories. He cheated the IRS, got caught and then had drugs and a gun on her when the FBI busted him and got a charge for that.

I have no compassion for anyone that cheats the IRS and does not pay their fair share of taxes. They should all be held accountable and forced to pay up.

the good news for the dems is likely with this plea this will shut the door on the DOJ/FBI/IRS continuing to investigate the Bidens into any link between Hunter's foreign income in exchange for JB's favors. This will satisfy those looking for "justice" in that there is has been action taken and they can close the case and move on to their favorite trump cases.

His taxes were never a bone of contention.

The “laptop” garbage, however, doesn’t hold water. All the investigating and posturing has turned up zilch.

"Although under pre-guidelines practice some large-scale evaders served as much as five years in prison, the average sentence length for defendants sentenced to a term of imprisonment did not increase rapidly with the amount of tax evaded. Thus, the average time served by those sentenced to a term of imprisonment for evading less than $10,000 in taxes was about nine months, while the corresponding figure for those evading over $100,000 in taxes was about sixteen months. Guideline sentences should result in small increases in the average length of imprisonment for most tax cases that involve less than $100,000 in tax evaded. The increase is expected to be somewhat larger for cases involving more taxes."

I'll let someone else dig through the various levels and sentencing tables, but the United States Sentencing Guidelines are clear that 1) The intent of the sentencing guidelines is to reduce the number of probation-only sentences and 2) Hunter Biden's offense would likely result in a multi-month sentence (minimum 20 months based on the guidelines) - if he were not the president's son.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.
The DOJ hit the tip of the iceberg; of course, Joe won't remember a thing.
But others will. Stay tuned.

We know why -- his Daddy said "My son did NOTHING wrong!".
Followed by my personal favorite - "I'm an Honest Man", "word of a Biden".

Totally depends on who your Daddy is and what Daddy controls - including our Corrupt Justice Dept.

This is the closest that the US has been to being perceived as a banana republic. The sitting office holder weaponizing the enforcement agencies of the government both against his political opponent and for his wretched, drug-addicted offspring.
NBC is claiming (as I predicted) that this means all investigations in Hunter are OVER.

@KenDilanianNBC
: "You could see this as a significant victory for Hunter ... [They] looked into whether he was violating the law by representing foreign companies or governments. NBC News reported he was paid millions $, some $13 million from Ukrainian and Chinese business interests. At the end of the day, investigators did not find criminal wrongdoing in any of that."

Weiss stated that H. Biden owes over $100,000 for each year in question (x2). How much over $100,000 has not been disclosed.

Entertainment attorney and novelist Kevin Morris footed the $2M+ bill for Sugar Brother's delinquent taxes when the federal investigation was announced - a likely indication that Biden was engaged in extensive tax evasion.
We are unlikely to ever find out how much Hunter (and the entire Biden Family for that matter) owes in Taxes for the Money they have hidden away in shell companies.

As for the 2022 payment of $2 MILLION in back taxes for the years 2017-2018 - his Sugar Daddy Billionaire picked up the tab for that amount.

Hollywood lawyer paid off over $2M of Hunter Biden’s delinquent taxes - May 2022

The Felony Gun charge is on Video tape on Hunter's Laptop that the FBI hid since 2019.
Who knows? - this Sweetheart Deal is SO GOOD, that it would be reasonable to consider how much the Biden's paid for it.
