As new groups of migrants arrive at the border, some of those seeking asylum are being released onto San Diego streets.

According to an internal watchdog for the Department of Homeland Security, during a 17-month period, they lost track of more than 170,000 migrants inside the U.S.

And this is only in the San Diego sector.

Watch crime start to increase in San Diego and our leaders will be absolutely dumbfounded as to why there is an uptick in crime.

For the record, SD is one of the safest big cities in the nation and has been for many many years. We're next to Tijuana, which has been the WORLD'S DEADLIEST CITY. A big reason for the contrast, is the triple layered border wall and fencing, that the Clintons funded (also Trump rebuilt sections and added additional security features and personnel).

Isn't it funny how it's not racist to have a big beautiful wall in Peace and Loving Blue California, but if Arizona or Texas want the same border protections, it's because they're xenophobic racists? Remember when the courts forced Arizona to remove shipping containers?

LOL!

What exactly is your complaint here? Seeking asylum is legal and it's legal for them to be released while they wait for the next step in the process. The right complains when they think the asylum seekers are receiving any kind of aid and they complain when they think they are just dropped off with nothing.

The problem with the policy is, there are 7.8 billion asylum seekers in the world right now and there are only about 165 million taxpayers.

That's the problem.

Seems to be too much immigration is the complaint. There's a separate forum for illegal immigration which the OP is active in so it's not like there is any confusion about where to complain about illegal immigration.

And California has a $32 BILLION deficit this year. Let's hope there's not another Biden recession, or else it could get ugly around here.

Actually it's not. The courts have ruled out the Dem fanatics' opposition to the "Remain in Mexico" policy, and ordered them to reinstate it. The Dems, of course, have been ignoring the court's order ever since.

Putting the phrase "it's legal" and what the Democrats have been doing, in the same sentence, is like citing The Onion.... except in the Democrats' case the grotesque descriptions are accurate.

These asylum seekers are supposed to ask for refuge in the first safe country that they enter not pick the U.S. as their destination instead. Mexico has some safe areas and they were also offered jobs there but most refused.

Our asylum policies need to be changed. They should be made to wait outside of our country for their cases to be verified before allowing them into our country and we need a cap on them. We cannot continue down this road of allowing millions of them into our county whom most are making bogus claims statistically. Only persecution is a valid claim not being poor and needing a job!

We have a huge backlog of asylum hearings. Even if they show up for their hearings it could be years down the road and in the meantime our cities and towns are having to bear the brunt of their living expenses.
