....that only bigger and more government can fix it

That is the point. I've seen people call the Green New Deal watermelon - green on the outside and red in the middle.

My takeaway from this article: It is terrifying that the people profiled and the writer actually vote. Good grief.
One wonders how these flakes even get through a day.

I wonder what folks will think of all this in, say, 100 years from now. Will they dope slap themselves and say "WTF were they thinking?" Or maybe just "Ah, so that's when the world went to hell in a hand basket."

This was shocking from the article.

"Climate Psychiatry Alliance, which has a list of more than three hundred climate-aware therapists—practitioners who recognize climate change as a major cause of distress and have developed methods for discussing and treating it."

Who would have ever thought that there would be such a thing and that so many people would be in such dire need of counseling to fight back their Fear and Tears? I am pro counseling and I think it is a good tool for people that are having difficulties dealing with trauma they have experienced or just difficulties in their life but counseling for Climate Change?

I don't know how these sorts would have ever lived with the real fear of nuclear devastation during the Cold War....

I trust that everyone of these suffering people that are so consumed by the Fears of Climate change are doing their part by not having children and possibly planning to check out early before they become a burden on society? Adult diapers are just as devastating for the environment as baby diapers are.
