Huh. He didnt get the classic tea or jumping. But the anti-aircraft missile taking his plane down tracks pretty well to the Russian air force being mad about him shooting down one of their command aircraft. It says to me that Putin had the military take him down instead of the FSB.
Can trust poop coming out of Ukraine or Russia. From what I heard the Kremlin literally was there for his taking if his troops had continued on. He had to know once he makes a move like it's a one way trip. Some say this was a distraction to help prep for the Ukraine counter offensive.
Just a question - this Wagner Prighozin guy was a billionaire. He knew Putin was after him big time. Isn't it possible he staged this so that he was no longer being pursued?
There is much displeasure with the loss of Russian lives in a senseless war instigated by Putin, we had trouble with recruitment in the ME wars, this is far worse. We loss a few thousand, Russia lost hundreds of thousands, there is a good deal of resistance within Russia. If you were guarding Putin would you be ready to give up your life.
Just imagine the fact that Putin needed to rely on mercenaries in Ukraine, what does that say about the vaunted Russian military. Just imagine if we had to send mercenaries to the ME.
Uhh, Ukraine lost hundreds of thousands, not Russia.
That's US propaganda lying to convince us to continue throwing money at Ukraine.
A few hundred thousand dead and an incompetent military is winning, no one can believe that propaganda. Where did you read that they are winning.
Dude, even the lame stream liars at CNN are now suggesting there is a stalemate. But the truth is, it’s Ukraine’s military who has taken an 8 to 1 ratio loss, amounting to at least 300,000 dead, and more than that number wounded. They have been systematically annihilated. Furthermore, they are running out of bodies to throw at Russians, and ammunition to fight back. And, they have absolutely no capability to produce anything military wise, and are 100% reliant on US-Europe-NATO aid, while Russia is producing war materials 24/7 nonstop.
This war was lost months ago, and since then, it’s been an unthinkable and totally unnecessary sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of human beings, while ignorant Americans believe the same nonsense you’re spewing. And here is the real shocker …. not even NATO could defeat the Russians at this point, without resorting to Nuclear weapons, so you better hope the lunatics behind this proxy war don’t take it that far.
As for Prigozhin, it’s really impossible to say what the whole truth is, unless you had inside knowledge. Everything else is pure speculation. I’m inclined to think that Prigozhin‘s march toward Moscow was either one leg of a larger operation inside the Russian political apparatus that was thwarted or abandoned, leaving Prigozhin languishing in the breeze, so he had no choice but to stand down, OR, it was his way of raising the red flag high enough to get the attention to what he believed was a failure of the Russian military to provide necessary resources to Wagner. I suspect the latter is more likely.
Some speculated that the whole thing was a psy-op by Russians, which was why Prigozhin wasn’t arrested and executed. Now, it seems that his fate was simply postponed.
Quote from article:
"Think about it: An army invades Russia, race right up to Moscow, and no one gets hurt? With just a few thousand men, it achieved what Hitler with almost a million men wasn't able to? And Putin holds his military back? And then, with Moscow supposedly within his grasp, Prigozhin decides, "Oh well, never mind" and heads to Belarus?"
"Prigozhin would have had to be an idiot or suicidal to think that with 8,000 men he could invade Moscow. Yet Prigozhin is very smart man, a juvenile delinquent turned convict, then hot dog salesman, then CEO of a multi-million dollar catering business serving the Kremlin, to finally commander of the world's most formidable mercenary force. It is utterly implausible that Prigozhin thought that he could take on Rosgvardia, Russia's National Guard, a 340,000-strong domestic security force reporting directly Putin."
I love to hear what some of you goofballs have to say to this. Yeh, the guy, Prigster lets call him, stages a "coup", and then is like, "ok nevermind" and goes to Africa, and some Wagner in Belarus, and everything is peachy and rosey.
It wasn't a coup, was not intended to be, and all the hullabaloo about the march on Moscow being a threat to P's regime was just a lot of unnecessary (and inaccurate) drama, IMO. Prig's aim was to have it out with Shoigu, who was trying to wipe out Wagner. I suppose you could say that Shoigu takes his orders from the man higher up, but...whatever. Prigs was fed up with the lack of support for his men. And apparently, there were even attacks on his troops from what were supposed to be "friendly" forces on the Russian side.
But I agree the whole thing was weird.
And even weirder, there's been no confirmation that he's dead. To the contrary, there's a report saying, that Russian sources have said that a second Wagner plane took off after the first one, but turned around and returned to Moscow after the first one was hit. It then took off again and flew to St Petersburg.
Was Prigs even on the first plane? The number of charred bodies adds up to the total 10 who were registered on the flight. If Priggy's still alive and walking around in St. Pete's, whose was that tenth body?
2. Putin's legacy is treading in Stalin territory, if it ain't already!

4. The Russian people are going to have the courage to rise against Putin, and, in turn, stop this war. Talking about courage and actual having it, of course, are two different things.
5. No surprise here!
