It says the aim is to prevent any future administration from tough immigration enforcement.
I’m not convinced this would absolutely limit Trump from deportation authority. This has got to be a joke. Biden reversed Trump and with the idiotic border wall construction stunt for which they excused as having to follow the wall, they thinkTrump would have to comply with this settlement in kind.
They’re so obsessed with inducing illegal mass migration into this country that perhaps they need to be seen as enemies of the state.
If expelled and coming in again and caught, it is a felony at that point, yet we would need a POTUS who supports the laws of our country in order that to work the way it was meant to.
No fines, just be expelled.
No, children should not pay for the sins (crimes) of their fathers and mothers, but:
"Nearly half (47%) of the approximately 1.25 million people in state prison are parents of minor children, and about 1 in 5 (19%) of those children is age 4 or younger. Altogether, parents in state prison reported roughly 1.25 million minor children, meaning the number of people in state prison almost exactly mirrors the number of impacted minor children. Research indicates that children of incarcerated parents face formidable cognitive and health-related challenges throughout their development."
The illegal alien and fake asylum seeker parents have ripped this children from everything they know in their mother country, and risked the lives of their children to get here, or those children they kidnap believing have children with them will get them in the country and "set up". If those countries were so horrible, why are not the millions still there making the same trek?
I have no issue sending the entire family all back to their mother country per our laws.
Were the parents of these separated imprisoned? Why were the kids split away from their families lacking proper record keeping so that they could be reunited? Were the kids placed with other family members, placed in foster care or placed for adoption? Rumors were all over the place.
Families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border under former President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy would receive an easier path to asylum, permission to work in the U.S. and medical, legal and housing benefits, under a settlement filed Monday in a long-standing lawsuit between immigrant advocates and the federal government.
Two things, families were separated at the border when it was suspected that these families weren't families at all but children brought here by trafficters.
Also, children can't be jailed with there kids so just what was wrong with these policy that separated families? Those were our laws! Trump warned them that families could be separated under both scenarios but they came any way.
So now they might be rewarded with asylum, jobs, medical and housing? WTH?

Here's an article explaining what happened if you overlook the blame Trump crap while reading it.
But with Trump's policies and the new USCIS procedures, a legal immigrant could suddenly become illegal. Not all illegals hopped the fence or crossed the Rio Grande. My wife for example, who is from the country everyone hates - Ukraine, is married to me and I served this country. She works hard and pays taxes. But the USCIS wanted to drag the process and act like our marriage was a sham. They weren't separating us though. If she got departed I'm packing up and going with her. We were talking about moving to Canada as they are more friendly to Ukrainian immigrants and have a large community. Unfortunately a lot of immigrants from poorer countries don't have those options.
