Would you please tell me the layperson why he is being charged, don't quote me, for defrauding loans. I mean I saw some comments in articles saying he lied to the banks about the value of his real estate.

Everyone talks up their real estate when they want a loan. Thing is why is Trump being told civil fraud for that. Don't the banks check to have the properties values assessed?

I'm not asking for a book report just a simple reason why and are the comments about him being guilty of fraud for saying his real estate was worth more that whomever says it was.
