The policy seems to be in the public interest. Tuberville getting his way would have cost the military more in the long run. Less spending anywhere is a plus right now.
I thought we were beyond the "It's cheaper to abort a baby than to have a baby so the tax payers should be happy abortions are allowed." But guess not.

Whether you are for or against abortion. I hope people realize how disturbing that argument is.

About time. I was thinking of the injustice to our armed forces. Crap politician.

Thank you! Whatever happened to "one monkey don't stop no show?".

That one one senator could bring an entire process to a halt speaks volumes of how Congress works nowadays. Not even in UK or elsewhere with parliamentary governments would such a thing have happened and or been allowed to last long as Tuberville got away with it.

Pointless, juvenile and vindictive. Now let's move on and talk about Tuberville...

Then there is the cost in readiness.

One solution would be to shift all soldiers to military bases in states that protect a woman's right to make her own decisions about her own body.

That's that! All nominations have been confirmed after Tuberville dropped remaining opposition. Took about a few minutes of senate floor time...

Higher ups in GOP party must really have sat Tuberville down and told him in no uncertain terms to knock it off.

Nothing like a well planted foot up the a$$ to make someone drop causes near and so dear.
