A local Ukraine politician blows up, detonates a grenade at a meeting. Tossed them in the room.

Motive unclear 26 wounded.

It's been reported (need to find the link) that he was (he's dead now) disabled in the current Ukrainian/Russian war and that was the reason for the bombing.

Not all Ukes are patriotic. Some are russians, some are traitors. After years of war atrocities a good number are probably crazy.

This is what I gather so far; it's Western Ukraine, he was a member of the local town ( village) council, rep of the "Servant of the people" ( Zelensky's party.)
He was very argumentative during the previous meeting, discussing the local budget for 2024 - he was demanding the report of spending for 2023.

No one in the local government apparently obliged.

So during this meeting, when the incident took place, they were still discussing the 2024 budget, so he left the room, and then returned with grenades.
