I sense the focus of Comer's team has now shifted away from Hunter, and to James.
Comer's team has to wait for the Impeachment committee's Subpoena orders to take hold to uncover more evidence on the Hunter scams, so they've set their sights on James, to get at Joe from that angle.
It wasn't really direct was it - it was somewhat laundered through Jim Biden? I seem to recall reading a story that Jim got a loan from Americore for $600,000 (with the promise of influence of the Biden name to get Amricore Middle Eastern money) then paid Joe, by check, the same day for $200,000. Later in the same article it said that Jim settled with Americore for $350,000, which must mean that they forgave $150,000. Do I have those numbers correct?

According to your article, James didn’t do anything but take their money. What does that have to do with Joe, even if it is true, which I’m leery of until there is independent corroboration.
This Congressman says the evidence against Joe and Hunter is overwhelming.
Who here thinks they have more access to the facts and evidence, & other information than a Congressman?
68% of American agree, & that was 2 months ago before the evidence that Joe got paid $200k directly by Americore, or Joe's 10,000 emails w/ Hunters pas using email aliases.
If anyone here says there's no evidence, they are in the 32% minority, & the 34% who think Joe's doing a good job as President. They are swimming upstream.
Joe Biden's being found guilty in the court of public opinion...no evidence required...now down to just 34%...& Comer's still got 11 months to hammer away at Joe.
The purpose behind hearings, in the case impeachment hearings, is to identify and discover facts against Biden. It’s not a trial of “show me all your evidence now” mantra. Patience democrats. That’s why there are subpoenas to gain additional information, to build the growing case file on Biden.
These hearing will unearth more details with enough detail that even AOC sees the light thru her Palestinian glasses and votes to impeach Biden.

Kickbacks.
Bribery.
Blackmail.
Using fake email addresses to hide his transactions.
Failing to secure our border.
