Listened to a military advisor. He reminded the public, we aren't here to encourage a war .
It's a catch 22 for the hardcore rebels of democracy. They will say: see Biden wants us in war, or Biden is too much a wimp for not bombing back.
It's amazing to see how some secretly wish war to ocurr just so they can clamour how it's the current leaders fault.
Good thing being president isn't for the teen angst type. Bullying or giving rash decisions without conferring with military leaders.
I agree that there is that element who will blame Biden no matter what decision he makes, just like there are people who blamed Trump for everything he did. It’s purely a political game for some.
But putting that aside, I’m very disappointed with the diplomacy ever since Biden took charge. Actually, I’m not really sure whose diplomacy it is, perhaps Blinken making unilateral decisions?
Ukraine could’ve been handled better, and assuming that Hamas struck Israel because of Israeli-Saudi relations, that would be another misstep.
Also, Iran and their proxies only respond to one thing. Strength, not appeasement.
But to sum up, the “adults in charge” have done a very poor job and the entire world is at a flashpoint.
I don't know if they want US troops in the region to have second thoughts, lower morale etc or they are trying to bait the US into a full fledged war in which they would use that to justify 9/11 type terror attacks in the US.
RIP those servicemen killed

Since the US is striking Iranian targets, Iran is forced politically to respond to save face. It's really just tit for tat escalation.
Aren't those targets related to attacks on shipping or terror attacks else where?
When did the US interfere with an Iranian operation in or near Jordan
And Iran will say their strikes are due to the targeted assassination of Sayyed Razi Mousavi, as well as the terrorist attack during the funeral of Gen. Qassem Soleimani which was done by groups linked to the USA.
