Yeah, I'm sure Russia is losing sleep with Sweden and Finland in NATO. Both are as worthless in war just like in WW 2. It has rained a lot from the Vikings glory days. They won't be selling a lot of Volvos in Russia.
Correct....most Russians can't afford to buy Volvos
Putin needs to lookup "unintended consequences" in the dictionary, because he is 100% to blame for Sweden and Finland joining NATO.
It is about time that those countries, all of them, join and then pay up. Those countries would be more impacted than the US if things get "crazy". We, as a country (and many individuals with the current economy) are broke, and we are borrowing money to support these invasions and keep them going.
Sweden did not take part in it, but Finland was invaded by USSR and was able to fight them off.
Finland had to cede some territory, but the mighty USSR had ridiculous numerical and technical superiority, yet ended up with embarrassing casualty figures.
USSR showed up with 2500+ tanks (Finland: 30some), 3500+ aircraft (Finland: About 100), yet ended up with roughly 5 times the casualty count. But then again, they had pretty much unstoppable numbers to hurl into the meat grinder. Hmmm. Reminds me of something...
You guys know why biathlon is still an Olympic event, right? It's so the Russians will remember how they did against the Finns in the full-contact version.
Sweden, like neighbor Finland, had long ruled out seeking NATO membership. That changed practically overnight when Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The attack sparked fears across Europe of Moscow’s revived imperial ambitions — alarm that has grown as Russia gains momentum on the battlefield in Ukraine.
One would think WWII and the Cold War might have given Sweden an epiphany or two.

They buy KIAs and Toyotas. At least they know which brand the bumper will not come off. I'm sure they want to invade Sweden to get Volvos.
