For example, Mr. Biden typically rests his hands on the podium while delivering a speech from the teleprompter. During the State of the Union, he frequently gestured and moved with his hands at a rapid rate, she said."

No doubt.

He was definitely on something. I would guess amphetamines, and the dose was excessive. The drug brought out anger and yelling (when they probably wanted him to be strong and firm).

He would have been awake till the next afternoon with the dosage they gave him. Probably they gave him something to sleep.

It is concerning. Shameful of his family and involved medical doctors to allow this to happen.

LOL. The haters can't get over the disappointment over the fact that the speech was better than expected. The speech ruined the "old stumbling man" narrative.

The "he must have been on drugs" line is an admission of the fact that he crushed the speech.

Given the quality of medical care Biden receives I suspect the dosage was correct. Unfortunately, it's difficult to accurately predict the effects.

The drug, the cheers, his natural adrenalin... Biden was flying.

To be fair...I agree he didn't screw up. Had he got lost while reading from the teleprompter and gone way off topic the Dem leadership would likely have had no choice but to replace him.

It was the worst SOTU in the history of the Republic...nothing but a campaign speech. Joe Biden is incapable of decency or decorum in addition to being a senile imbecile. I'm not surprised you are cheerleading it, though.

I do hope they replace him, but that's another story.

Its funny how people can't hide their disappointment over the fact that he didn't screw up. They wanted it so bad they could taste it

And then there was the GOP response with a woman whispering in her kitchen. Even SNL picked up on that. Heh-heh

And the screamers in the Congress. One had to be carried out........ Not a good day for Republicans.

While it's still early there's nothing indicating Biden received a bump in the polls.

If the White House doctor was the one giving the drugs to Biden, he should have known how much to give him so that it would not make Biden overly aggressive. Perhaps the doc did not know exactly how Biden would react. Or with all the talk about Biden being so feeble and old mannish, he had to give him a little extra to compensate for it.

So what they got was a "fiery energetic" Biden, and all the news pundits on the Dem side were raving about how fiery Biden was and all that.. so yeah they got that person, but it was FAKE. that was not Biden that was firey, it was the drugs being firey.

So actually, they made Biden look worse than ever. Their plan to have Biden look alive backfired. Everyone is making fun of Biden now.

That White House doctor also claimed that Biden was in excellent health. Either he is lying or is an incompetent doctor.
