365 days in a year, and this is the one they picked to honor trannies..

Fairfax [VA] Democrats Choose Easter Sunday as ‘Transgender Visibility Day’
Quote:
Fairfax County Virginia has named Easter Sunday 2024 as “Transgender Visibility Day,” in what many Christians see as a hijack of their most sacred holiday.

The Fairfax County School Board has added Transgender Visibility Day to its prior designations of June as LGBT Pride Month and October as LGBT History Month for a remarkable 62 days of LGBT celebration in the district’s schools.

The Rev. Emma Chattin, executive director of Transgender Education Association, praised the board’s decision, asserting that visibility can be “a heroic thing, especially for our trans women of color in our community, who face additional intersectional obstacles of prejudice regarding safety, housing, employment and health care.”
2 months of the year devoted to worshipping alphabet people?

Purposed subversion.

The goal of the woke left is to set society adrift from past traditions, beliefs, historical events, literature, art, music so that all can be 'fixed' to fit the dystopian future of equity.

Try that approach with an Islamic holy day and the reaction would be overwhelming, intended or not, to smite their holyday.
If they wanted it to be during the week of Easter without being obvious about it, they should have picked April 1 as their day.

It is clown world that is trying to normalize this stuff and expose it to the kids.

I wonder how many "sexy" Easter bunnies there will be parading around? There is something no one needs to see outside the bedroom. What is it with the Left that feels the need to shock America with this crap?

The first International Transgender Day of Visibility was held on March 31, 2009. It's a set date and doesn't rotate around so always held on March 31st.

The more "visible" the transgenders become, the less I like them. Maybe, instead of trying to be more visible (i.e. in your face), they ought to consider ways in which they could refrain from annoying the vast majority of people. Not demanding to compete in sports leagues against opposite-gender players, and not demanding to be allowed to invade opposite-sex private spaces, would be a good start.

If the right doesn't make a big deal out of it, nobody will even know about it. But that's not how social media works is it? lol

I'm not sure why anyone cares about this. Almost no one who is celebrating one of these "holidays" will be celebrating the other. Total non-issue.
