because we certainly don't want anyone to make some spurious connection to Christianity or anything equally ludicrous

Children of the National Guard are prohibited from submitting religious Easter egg designs for the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event at the White House.

The art contest is part of the White House’s Easter traditions, which include the annual Easter Egg Roll.

The flyer for the contest states that an Easter egg design submission “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”

Eventually they'll ban the word Easter at Easter egg hunts because:

Quote:
Easter
a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus wiki
Celebrate His resurrection, but don't use any symbols, it could offend non-Christians?

Got news for you, An EASTER egg hunt uses the name of the religious Holyday in its title!

Maybe call it a 'bumbling biden lost egg hunt'.

We all know the government does not like religion except for Islam.

So they celebrate the Pagan holiday. Let them.

The war on Christmas has moved to a new front. A war on Easter.

They want to erase the Christian basis for all of these holidays. They are doing a great job. More and more people are treating them like secular party days today.

We now live in an Idiocracy (and more obviously by the day, a satanic idiocrasy). And this is just another statement of idiocy in the infinite trail of idiotic statements from our government: Any hint of religion is hereby banned from this religious holiday.

Federal Government tends to follow the separation of Govt and faith.

I personally find it normal for federal to remain neutral on many "faith" based ceremonies.

The commercial standards still hold true though- With Santa or with an easter egg hunt or pardoning a turkey.

Those that believe in God should refuse to go to the White House. Why would they want to go to an anti-God egg hunt. Let the heathens enjoy.
