A guy that put a successful state like California in the Red, and oversaw the first exodus from California ever

The other high scoring person is Gretchen Windmer. The woman put Covid infected patients in Nursing homes, While here husband was out tooling around on his boat during her mandatory shut down

If Trump picks a good VP and they win, then I would be looking at that person to run in 2028.

I have never been more impressed with a politician. He actually does the things he says he will, and then some.
I don't agree with a lot of DeSantis' stupid anti-woke rhetoric and actions, but I have a lot of respect for how he's run Florida overall in terms of development, land management, and infrastructure management. He's done a lot of good things. And the squatters rights rollback is another big positive from him.

I'm not sure I'd support him for president due to his social views, but I think he's been very good for Florida.

Larry Hogan, Andy Beshear, Wes Moore, Gretchen Whitmer would all be good picks in my opinion. Maybe Brian Kemp as well.

That is true, I'll give him him credit for those things. Although Rick Scott was good for FL as well especially with the Brightline which started under him.

If you actually read the law he passed it doesn't do much for a squatter. Page 3

The unauthorized person or persons are not current or former tenants pursuant to a written or oral rental agreement authorized by the property.

Unauthorized person can't be a family member. They also can't have any pending litigation.

The only thing this law does is allow someone to ask a Sheriff to evict someone at their expense the owner has to pay the sheriff to do this job. The sheriff not required to do it either.

If the squatter shows them a phony lease agreement which happens all the time nothing can be done. This law even says an "oral" agreement they can just tell the police they have a lease.

IMO this law changes nothing for squatting.

You should spent more time critically assessing the job Katie Hobbs has done in your state. She's a total imbecile with no accomplishments. Let's discuss that. You can start by listing what she's done since her election.

I thought this was a right wing forum according to the left - oh wait - the right have jobs and a life and can't be online all the time.

Actually, my picks are Gaetz, Abbott and Fetterman who is showing more smarts than all Dems put together.

Your saying you agree with my statement about the squatter law in Florida.
