Can't imagine why you would say that! LOL!

Believe domestic oil production would be beneficial if for no other reason than to break the OPEC monopoly that engages in price fixing quite openly; kind of reminds me of DeBeers diamonds. Control the supply and you can control the price - the OPEC motto.

That's what i want to know.

If there is oil in the Dakota's to get, go drill for it. Why would anybody be against it? So long as it's done cleanly and with respect for the environment, i don't give a damn where they drill.

Given all of the restrictions on oil exploration from coast to coast, as well as the ongoing moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico, please feel free to slap the next Democrat who utters the phrase 'energy independence' since it's extremely obvious that they don't believe in it, and continue to erect roadblocks to ensure that it never comes to pass

He's obviously not interested in having the Treasury Dept. inundated with trillins of dollars in new revenue from the hundreds of thousands of new jobs which would be created, with minimum salaries well north of $50K/year if he weren't such a slave to the environmental fanatics out there.

If slapping Democrats is the penalty for saying 'energy independance,' i'm going to say it as often as i can.

Besides, nothing wrong with the moratorium. We've got to make sure that we don't have another incident like the last one. Once we're sure, we can go back to drilling like crazy.

There is no gulf in SD.

Drill on land is MUCH more controlled.

If the international oil industry permits it we will drill anywhere we want so long as the increase in supply does not lower the cartel's price.

Great point.

Without a why to refine it, more oil won't help much.
