Like the banks who made the bogus loans.
Of course, that's who the conservatives want to bail out (since there is now liberal slamming going on) ... the people who ultimately didn't do the research on the borrower's to begin with.

Default Go to your room!

I'm so Fooking mad right now. This is crap to all of us who knew better than to get involved in the hyperbubble of the housing market back in the day. While I know that there be a panic if the housing/financial system were to collapse in the short run. I think in the long run I would be better for us as a whole if we did have a little panic come our way. Basically to teach the American people a lesson about money, credit, and responsibility. This is just moral hazard at this point and will do nothing to further us as a country. Actually it worse this is teaching us that it OK to screw up and that we won't be punished for our stupidity.

I say to all the old school Conservatives out there it time to get their belt oil up and take some people to the woodshed to learn them. To all the more liberal out there. Plead with you to at least consider a timeout or even the dreaded punishment of sending you wayward children (bad borrowers) to their rooms. Preferably a room without an X-box in it.

I am not for bailing out anyone. I also opposed the incentive. Just adds to the debt we owe.I sayno bailout for the lenders or the borrowers;all just adds to the debt in the end your grandchildren will pay for.

I always wonder who I should vote out and now I will have a LONG list. Next is the House and see how they vote or voted.
Wouldn't it be crazy if people got so mad that they emailed and called there senators? That would be nuts.

That is not enough if they ignore us and dont have the common sense to see what is wrong with this bill they do NOT deserve to be in that seat AT ALL. In fact I would like to have them all impeached from office.

Hey, I informed Ms. Dole that I was going to seriously reconsider voting for her in November b/c she hasn't impressed me much. I know I'm one person but if more were to let them know their re-elections were at stake, maybe it would wake them up!
