I don't think he did the best job, but personally I'm not so sure he is running the show at all, I feel more indifferent about Bush or Clinton and perhaps indifferent about our next president more than anything. Looking back at history legendary presidents come around only about twice every century or so.
"Abraham Lincoln had a viable reason to suspend Habeas Corpus (which is the only thing he did on that list)."
Oh I see. You can only suspend Habeas Corpus for a good reason. lol The only reason he didn't do everything on that list is because FISA and the CIA didn't exist at that time, but you can bet he had intelligence officers torturing people. It's called coersion and don't be so naive to think it doesn't happen. He imprisoned thousands of Confederate sympathizers without trial, spent money without the authorization of Congress and every President tries to stack the court if they have the chance, so I really don't see your point there.
I agree and you will remember me telling you the real problems with Iraq have yet to begin they are coming. The surge is a farce the "insurgents" are simply waiting .
Even than they will hit now and than and can pick up the pace any time.
I agree also with what you stated before Pres Bush has zero to blame for 9-11 in no way could he or anyone see this coming. I find it unreal that anyone blames him .
A few individuals came to America caught flights and pulled this off . No one could fathom planes would be crashed into towers, etc.
I do find him a horrible Pres but 9-11 is no ones fault .
In all honesty, no. Probably the biggest reason for this was the way he and his cronies used 9/11, playing the 'fear card' to get their way. Then again, the Dems who turned tail and allowed them to do these things are not high on my list either.
