Had our leadership learned anything, reduced spending and the deficet, eliminate taxpayer support of poorly run businesses and let the economy run it's course, I think we'd have well into a recovery by now, much like other recessionary cycles. Business owners aren't stupid, who can make a decision on investing in a business when government policy is flip-flopping every week? I think business people and capitalists anticipate huge tax increases over the next few years to pay for both parties lack of fiscal responsibility. My guess is that you'll see less investment in this country and more overseas.
