Gun control is using both hands As stated many times when guns are outlawed only the outlaws will have guns. No new gun laws are needed just enforce the ones on the books

I'm of the opinion that many restructions on guns aren't very effective. So many guns already exist, and are transferred throughout the black market without regulation. Attempting to restrict the sale of handguns just doesn't seem like a great solution to any problem.

So long as one does not violate the rights of others, one should be able to own and use one's property how one sees fit. No gun control and no bans.

I'm for gun control but I'm against guns laws/regulations etc etc. I own a couple handguns and I have a permit for carrying a concealed weapon. Whenever I drink a long distance, I feel safer with something to protect myself with. Sometimes when I go out at night, I'll take my trusty PPK/S with me. We have a right to bear arms and I will take full advantage of that right.

To start with Im against the term "assault" rifle or "sniper" scope. They dont help the cause. I believe (worried) registration is coming, I hope we gun owners can get a set of laws better to keep from registration. We need to gain as much support from non-owners as we can. If A democrat wins the white house were in big trouble. Of coaurse if Gulianni gets in thats no better.

Default assault weapons ??????

do people realize a basball bat IS an assault weapon.........so what is an assault weapon. something you can put a bayonet on it ???? B.S.
the idiots dealing with farearms laws, for the most part, do not know a damn thing about firearms. Even a CAR can be an assault weapon. Anyone want to take all vehicles off the road ???? think of all the lives and injuries saved ??
Never happen. Oil companies would not hear of it. Their profits, profits, profits.....the hell with lives............think about it.

I spent my time at the Coroner's Office and have alot of first hand experience with criminals and their victims. What I can tell you is this, no matter what the weapon, criminals will use it against their victims (baseball bats, knives, guns, etc.). The only real protection is a gun as it gives the victim a good safety distance from their attacker. When a murderer comes with you at knife and all you have is a knife to protect yourself, odds are you are going to die. Now, criminals also carry guns and if you were armed with a gun, the chance of your survival is much higher. That's why I am for private ownership of guns. I have seen too many murders to say otherwise. Its your best hope for life when a criminal wants you dead.
