As you all know Sarah Palin is under a probe investigation for abuse of power. Alaskians are are now seeing the light. The republicans and the right wing media wont tell you this but Palin's approval rating dropped from 90% to 67%. Palin is going to become a liabilty to McCain once the whole story in Alaska begins to break out.

Its not to 67%, it actually fell from 80% to 77% if you look on the Rasmussen Reports. And her drop is NOT due to the scandal, but because some Alaskans felt that she is just abandoning them and their needs. It has nothing to do with other circumstances. And 80% is still the highest approval rating in the United States among governors, much higher than Senator Bidens 49% in his state or Obama's 63% in his (which should be more like 5% because he hasnt done anything for his constituents in the 2 years he has been in this office).

Her approval ratings are immaterial. But John McC's poor judgment is material. He chose a running mate who:

-Is under investigation for abuse of power
-Has no knowledge about the large scale economic crisis we're in
-Does not have the demeanor, presence, grace, apptitude, or depth to be the VP for a 72 y/o president with health issues
-Has stretched the truth, if not lied, about her record in office
-Told the Alaskan people her adm would be an open book, but will not meet with and turn over info to a bi-partisan investigative body - 3 reps, 2 dems.
-Is ignoring the requests of the committee she told 60 days to hold her accountable and that she would cooperate

The abuse of power issue is a problem and should be resolved the right way - not by McC's campaign telling the people there's nothing there and forcing Palin to not cooperate. This type of behavior is too familiar given the past 8 years. I'm not interested in more.

McC, if elected, will have put his ambitions to be president before the needs of the American people.

Well said.

The lies and bs are not what we need. Most of us are tired of it.
