The BIG MONEY does not want the citizens of San Diego to go to "their" beaches, bays and what the heck lets include the neighborhood parks too.

But realize that this is part of the No on D campaign, instead of issuing a blanket ban they want REAL SOLUTIONS. You obviously prefer an entire ban then try to go back and work out a solution, but that is less likely to happen if this passes b/c the issue will most likely lose steam and be forgotten, which is what the Yes on D side wants I'm sure.

The Beach Alcohol Task Force spent months studying this issue seeking input from everyone about what to do. There are many many recommendations and NONE of them were a city wide ban. We didn't even try to enact most of these recommendations to see if they work. Why not try to find a sensible solution that pleases both sides instead of it being an all or nothing situation right now that will leave one side very upset come Wed?

I plan to Vote YES on Prop D, because that will be an immediate resolution to this ongoing problem.

If your side wants to get a new proposition on the ballot in a future election, I'll be happy to consider it at that time.

I believe your side should have worked harder to add your solution as a 3rd choice on this year's election. But that didn't happen.

So we currently have only two choices at this time - YES or NO, and I plan to vote YES to Prop D.

My wife is a native. I'm not, though I lived there for almost 30 years. We were hippies when we met , now married amost 38 years!

We lived at Windansea when we were first married. Then moved to Mira Mesa.
