Protagonist of a novel popular with teenagers who want to grow up and make a lot of money, while screwing over whomever gets in the way.

I found some reading material more suited to your thought process. notice the age group it caters to.

Rainbow Fish - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

not sure what truth you spoke. the book is assigned for philosophy majors in college. perhaps you will understand the real meaning of the book one day.

Popular with teenagers? Your kidding. None today have ever heard of him, and when I was growing up, it was Freshmen in College that were reading it (well, okay...I guess they were still in their teens).

But, John Galt was not a guy interested in "screwing over" anybody.

Have you even read the book? Doubt it.

Should be required reading for all H.S. students, but with the liberals in charge of the public (government) education in this country, it will never happen.

For readers who still don't know who John Galt is: Read "Atlas Shrugged"

One last question: Whey does makiing a lot of money mean "screwing over other people" to you? Most people make their money honestly, with hard work and dedication, and a desire to achieve. That was John Galt. He wasn't "screwing over" anybody.

most liberals haven't figured it out. they hate evil corporations, yet they support the largest, greediest, most lucrative, most corrupt corporation in the world. the united states federal government. you always hear about exxon's record profits, but you never hear about the governments record profits.

Why do we keep getting these polls in which the correct answer is not one of the choices.

John Galt is a fictional character in a novel. Not one of the offered choices.

correct, he's a character in a book, but you know who he is, so why can't you answer the question? I asked who john galt represented to you. it's not rocket science.
