House GOP Leaders Push for ‘Cut-As-You-Go’ - Washington Wire - WSJ

“Very simply, under this ‘CutGO’ rule, if it is your intention to create a new government program, you must also terminate or reduce spending on an existing government program of equal or greater size–in the very same bill,” Mr. Boehner said during the AEI speech.

Lets hop CutGo is enforced and not waived like paygo!!

LOL...love the inference of "CutGo": the neutering of Socialist governmental agencies, snip, snip! Too bad it is only 1:1 instead of cutting three for every one created.

The GOP's johnny-come-lately epiphany about bigger government rings hollow.

One is left to wonder just what they would have "cut" before they gave the "go" to the largest federal department ever created: Homeland Security.

If you wtched the president's committee report and the fact that 40 cents of very dollar we are spending in federal spending is borrowed that is scary enough. To thnk that that 40 cent has to be paid with interest is carier. There basically is no way that cuts do not ahve to be a large aprt oft eh plan to reduce the debt. That will mean that governamnt will be sucking mney out of the privte sector which mean fewer jobs too juse to pay the debt.

The GOP's quite accomplished at paying lip service to the idea of less government. Perhaps one of you GOPers would care to tell us just when that's been accomplished by the GOP?
