H*ll freezes over. Even the Bush-hating German magazine recognizes a disaster in the making.

Obama's Mistakes: Chancellor Merkel Visits the Debt President - SPIEGEL ONLINE - News - International

Quote:
The crisis, Summers intoned last week at a conference of Deutsche Bank's Alfred Herrhausen Society in Washington, was caused by too much confidence, too much credit and too many debts. It was hard not to nod along in agreement.

But then Summers added that the way to bring about an end to the crisis was -- more confidence, more credit and more debt. And the nodding stopped. Experts and non-experts alike were perplexed. Even in an interview following the presentation, Summers was unable to supply an adequate explanation for how a crisis caused by frivolous lending was going to be solved through yet more frivolity.
Yeah, makes sense, right?

Obama will be 1,000 times worse than Jimmy Carter. When Carter was prez. I bought my first house at 17% interest. Do you remember gas lines? He was ultra liberal, but he has nothing on Obama. I weep for the future

Come on it makes perfect sense that when you are deep in debt the only way to get out of it is to go even deeper in debt

hussein obama is one of those "intellectuals" that, according to the left, is only to be found among liberals.

It's a good thing we are all not "intellectuals" or this country would already be lost.
