What if people were more spiritual in our society and the political venue rather than religious...I would think there would be far less fanatics, far less condemning others for anything that was outside of the norm of one's comfort zone; there could be the separation of Church and State because people would be more evolved on a spiritual level knowing that attacks, religious arrogance, any side, detracts and discredits politics as politics should be legislative changes, collective bargaining, betterment of a country, for individuals and as a whole, and 'laws' for the protection of its citizens ...and how do religious, thus more biased for their religion, help politics?

Spiritual, to me, equates to humanness, humanity, a greater force, Universe, one's God....and being a good person....kinda simple concept, you do good, you get good, you do bad, you get bad...

Do others define religious and spiritual in the same vein?

Good thread.... I believe that their is NO comparison..I think spiritual is the way to heaven and religion is the path to destruction. The first is of GOD and the second is of man.
