My brother, two weeks after he and his wife had their first baby, called me one day and flat out said, "Be glad you're gay." I chuckled, but I think he was being serious.
That first baby just may be the one who is taking care of his/her parents when they reach old age.
I know from experience.
Many of my friends are gay/lesbian. I'm sure it would be a shock to my family if I took the pill, but I'd probably have the same friends. Because I'm a very practical woman, give me the $500 million.
Why don't you ask the question for all of you gay people....how much money would it take to make you straight?
What kind of question is this. People do not choose who they are or who they are attracted to....just how they choose to live their life. Gay or not gay.

If you had read through the posts, you would have seen that your question was already addressed.

You obviously didn't understand the question, and if you had read through the posts, you would have seen the question explained in greater detail. Here it is again - just for you!
Assume that scientists have developed a pill that would turn a heterosexual into a homosexual overnight. If you take the pill, the results will be permanent; you will not be able to go back to being a heterosexual.
The scientists want to study the long-term results, but they realize that most heteros won't take the pill for free. They've decided to offer cash to any heterosexuals willing to take the pill.
How much money would they need to give you to convince you to take the pill?
If it makes it easier to answer the question, pretend that you are a single person with no spouse or children.
If you don't like the premise of the question, or if you can't handle it or whatever, then please, just ignore it.
[color=black][font=Verdana]All the straight people are responding to the question without thinking about the benefits. They are letting their first impression/reaction talk for them. I am gay, but in my opinion, if I would be straight (Thank God I am not!!), I would first think of the benefits of taking the pill
Wow, are you mixed up!
Anyway, to answer the question, I would not take the pill for any amount of money. For several reasons:
1. Religious
2. Moral
3. I like girls so much I would miss them
