Then again, it is par for the course for those that want to tell people how to think.

I believe W was a good president in difficult times. He was dealt some bad cards. Lincoln was very unpopular in his war as well. Bush made many mistakes and was given some bad intelligence. His Texas macho influenced his decision making, but that's not all bad. Does the world dislike us? Yes, and it has for a long, long time. Does the world respect us? Yes, more than during times with weak presidents like Carter and Clinton. History will judge him much more favorably than the American people do today.

Obama is coming in during difficult times also. He will be blamed for many things that will be beyond his control. No matter how good he may be as president he will be percieved as a bad president because bad things will happen during his administration. Probably very bad things. Clinton is thought of as a good president by many people because he presided over a prosperous and stable period in US history (by accident; he didn't cause it..), but he was really corrupt and immoral. IMHO

The thing is, you can't even honestly say he's the best of the worst. Warren Harding looks surprisingly decent by comparison.

No problem. I just noticed that your location is El Salvador. So in that case, you did quite well.
