I agree. I think that, given the toxic stew of stuff he stepped into after the election he didn't do that badly. It's very easy for the libs to cast blame, but they cannot know how Gore would have done in the same position.
Did he MOD CUT the war? Yup. But hindsight is 20/20. No one will ever convince me that George Bush is anything but honorable and tried to do his best.

Bush is picking what he's planted for 7+ years, holding himself up with great arrogance to be THE decider, being unwilling/unable to accept criticism or come remotely close to acknowledging there are valid viepoints in the world other than his own. HE wrote the prescription for the treatment he's receiving.
