the writer compared other wars and lands taken over by the 'opponents' comparing with Russia, Germany, Japan and the like and she noted that when their wars were over, those conquerers did not have to 'give back' those lands they 'won' in a fight...why was Israel being singled out and condemned...interesting.
Yea but the people who didn't 'win', you have to treat them equitably after the fact. Give them rights, the access to food, water, medical aid and allow them to build these facilities. You don't just keep killing innocent civilians because you want them to disappear.
Sly is right. Nearly every sign except the big one are middle of the road rhetoric. Stop the killing, Israel out of Palestine, etc. Even Hebrew soldiers being interviewed are now questioning their orders in recent video footage shot at the front. Of course, censorship is prohibiting more of these patriots from having their voices heard.
I don't know why blind support for Israel exists. It's probably a mix of gentile guilt, race empathy (Israels look an awful lot like WASPs and other assorted caucasian types), being a party line towing apologist.
