I'm glad President Obama is going to continue the search for Osama bin Laden.

I still remember the day that happened. I happened to be at home that day, my mom called me just after the first plane had hit, and told me to turn on the news. I saw the live video of the second plane hit those towers. Even from over 800 miles away, in Maine, watching on TV, it was gut-wrenching. Witnessing an event that I knew would lead us to war. It was one example of a time when former President Bush did show good leadership.

I may not have voted for Obama, but I want to wish him, and especially the men and women of the military, God-speed. And may they vanquish the enemy swiftly, that they may return home in good time to the families that they have left.

I saw it in person and there is nothing I hate more than people taking the images and setting them to music and slideshows.

I agree melinux. I'm glad we put someone in who wants to get the guy who symbolizes 9/11. The shell game the Bush Administration played on us was the cruelest trick we've ever been played. I can't imagine Obama ever saying something like, "I dont really think about him much."

9/11 - I was at home alone on the phone, my youngest daughter was in the third grade at school 40 miles away. The school chancellor called the girls into the chapel and said, "Girls, our country is under attack. You may try to contact your parents."

My two older daughters saw it on television. My grandmother, who was about 90 then, saw it on television and observed, "Well, I guess our good old water tower is next. I'd better call Jewell."
