I guess we'll have a week of explanations and spin now.
However,
Mr. Obama said he was confident his recovery program would become reality. In promising that it would be run with openness and accountability, the president quoted Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis, who said, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
I'm disappointed that, after Obama reached out to republicans, not one single one voted for it.
They were backed into a corner by the evil liberal media! As things get better they'll come along! Barack isn't god (wingnuts would have you believe we think he is)he can't change things overnight!

It is a great day!! Now let's ram it through the Seante and get it on Obama's desk!
It is not a stimulus - it is full of pet democrat pork intended as a "thank you" to those groups/entities that put obama in the WH.
Like, us?
The $825 billion economic recovery package developed by President Obama and the Congressional Democrats includes new spending on education, health care, unemployment benefits and a vast array of public works projects to create jobs, with tax cuts making up just under 40 percent of the package.
Much of the spending is on existing programs, and intended to speed money out the door.
Ah! Not one GOPer voted for it yet it passed by a wide margin.
Now why don't Dems stop this Bi-partisan charade and admit that all the GOP wants to do is a sabotage any legislation they can??
Give them the respect they deserve. ...........Ignore them.
A sentiment I've felt, but that would make us no better than them! kind of like the Gitmo situation!
