I think I just realized why the Upper Midwest votes Democrat. (yes, I'm a bit slow sometimes) I mean, I understood Michigan, being from here. But I'll bet tons of people in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota have the same feelings. There's a certain populist streak up here that is stronger than other regions.

Mayor Bernero is 100% correct. The anger extends far beyond the Upper Midwest; every state is running in the red...just ask Ahnold. The pay rate was once worker/$1.00, CEO/$4.00 to an unprecedented worker/$1.00, CEO/$400.00. This lacks morality as well as simple equity. Repeal the tax cuts on the upper 2%, and help actual workers. Can you see Murdoch working on an assembly line? Bill Frist emptying bedpans? Rush Limbaugh making 2500 Vicodin monthly instead of taking them and giving other Americans "advice?" I think not. No worker, no product, no business: Bye-bye CEOs.
