Wikipedia is simply an amalgamation of many other sources. Although I did not include the links, a glance at the wikipedia entry in question will give you multiple footnotes and sources. I think you're simply attacking the source because your lie was so easily refuted.
Wingnuts attack Wikipedia without even bothering to refute anything their excellent and informative articles explain. Wikipedia is a great source of information, as you pointed out, and if someone is going to attack it they need to be specific.

Kennedy was about to withdraw the couple thousand 'advisors' when he was shot, upon which LBJ then promptly ratcheted the war up with hundresd of thousands of soldiers. The phony reason was to save the world from Communism. The real reason was to protect business interests in Southeast Asia. As you can see from China's rise to prominence as the largest manufacturer in the world, corporations will use you to earn a profit, whether you go by a Communist or Capitalist tag.
I think her actions were wrong, but I think forgiveness is better than continuing to hold onto bitterness/anger about things. ( As a Christian, I am commanded to forgive actually.) Additionally, I think Jane Fonda understands how these actions were perceived. We all have probably done some things we regret when we were young.

FACT: Clinton did not pursue the military, nor did he make himself out to be what he wasn't. An arkansas boy EARNED a rhodes scholarship, which is no small feat. There were academic exceptions for military service, and that didn't necessarily make them draft dodges lest we scrutinize every present tense politician serving in office originating from that era with equal measure. I'd rather not, but if you really push it I'm sure you won't be happy with the truth glaring you in the face.

That particular propaganda campaign was bankrolled by a PAC neocon group who aren't opposed to being in the gutter to win at any price. Key testimony flip flopped and was retracted post election. FACT: 2008 McCain is miraculously transformed back into a hero again and POW's aren't inherently defective after they managed to take a man who was his own man, ran him through the mystical Bush yes man machine, and regurgitate him out for the masses as new and improved GOP sock puppet. Actually, Bill Clinton was with the ROTC in college and wrote a letter to his ROTC commander telling him he loathed the military. He did this while in England protesting our country and the war in Vietnam. The press was the one highlighting McCain as a war hero,...right up until he won the nomination and then the gloves were off. After he got the nomination the press attacked him like he's never been attacked before. The press wanted him to win the Republican primary but didn't want him to win the election. Among conservative republicans, he was not their candidate in the primaries. His number of conservative support went up because of Palin. They supported her, not him.

I may not have been there but the Swift Boat Vet's lies have been thoroughly debunked and, as such, I feel comfortable calling them LIARS AND COWARDS because that's what they are. You, on the other hand, are being willfully ignorant about Kerry's role in Vietnam because it fits your political agenda. I would feel the same about John McCain if some nutjob group started saying he made everything up and he was really living in a royal compound being treated like a prince and NOT ONE of the accusers had served with him or witnessed his alleged palace living. As for your other post about Jane Fonda, I still think she's an idiot. She should probably spend more time acting and less time talking about politics because she's an idiot. Let me get this straight, here. When you repeat something that you have "heard" it is a fact. When others do it they are lying. The less you know of something, the more certain of it you are. That lack of personal knowledge and reliance on the stories of others must really give you a unique insight into the truth. That about cover it for you?
Well, since the Swift Boat Vets and their absolute lies have been completely uncovered and the smears debunked, I'll repeat, I feel very comfortable calling them liars. It's one thing to believe unsubstantiated lies and quite another to believe lies that have been debunked over and over. Congratulations, not many people are stupid enough to do the latter, you're one in a million.
