Yeah, Locke is a smart guy. Met him several times back in the days when he was Governor and my wife was one of the 2 floral designers volunteering their time to decorate the Christmas tree in the Capital rotunda (I served as a helper). We did it 3 years in a row. It was tons of fun. Pretty cool to be able to do something like that in such a beautiful building.

Those were pretty big mistakes for someone who was supposedly so uniquely educated to be the head of the Treasury! Although to be fair, the amount of tax owed dwarfs compared to the sum Daschle owed
