I'd love to see the Republicans put up Steele, and when Obama gets 98% of the African American vote sit back and watch the Regugs try and spin how the black vote was racist.
I would love to see that, just to prove you wrong. Poll after poll has shown that blacks line up almost identical with conservatives on social issues such as gay marriage, abortion, religious tolerance/intolerance. Harry Jackson and the pastor of the mega church in Detroit (can't remember his name) would endorse Steele as they're both conservatives.
I'd say that if the two ran against one another in 4 years stelle would win the black vote. The black community already knows that they're voice counts, and by than Barry will have run this country so far into the ground everybody will be wanting real change.
Hope we find out. You can bookmark this and get back to me in 4.
I'd love to see Michael Steele run against Barack Obama in 2012. This would be an entertaining and historical election. Do ya'll think this is an actual possibility or will this happen only in my dreams?
A lot can happen between now and 2012, I just hope it's someone new with new ideas...GOP needs a new approach....

Well if that's the case what seems to be the problem for the GOP capturing more than 8% of the African American vote (I'd be more than happy to provide a hint).

There has never been a shortage of African American celebrity endorsements for Republicans, end result has always been the same.

You should check with Alan Keyes.

Now you see, there you go disrespecting the brother, calling him Barry, you just don't get it.

Dude you'll just slink away like the rest of the Repucks did after making their projections prior to the last election.

1. Entitlements, the left has told the black community that they're victims and can't get a head on merit. Sadly, many have bought into this.
2. Conservative Evangelical black leaders are becoming quite prominent and vocal. Historical precedent is not always an indicator of future results. Up until this year we have never had a bi-racial president.
3. Again, read my rebuttal to #2, it applies to this one as well. Just because one black conservative wasn't successful doesn't mean that a better one won't be. See Jesse Jackson in '84, '88 and Obama in 2008.
4. How is calling him Barry, the name that he went by up until his junior year in college disrespectful?
5. Didn't see your last point, er, should I say insult. Invective aside, bookmark it. I'll be here God willing. I don't know if this country will however.

Man did you have Rush fax those over directly or do you have a manual of talking points.
