Well, considering the major urban population centers are typically in progressive states - New York, Illinois, California - it is accurate. It just reinforces the point even further. These liberal states produce the tax revenue that conservative states take (be it for farming or disaster relief or welfare) and liberal states produce way more tax revenue than they consume.

Look it up - it's a statistical fact.

And if you want a county break down, the highest illegal abortion rates occur in a rural Oklahoma county.

I live in a rural, very conservative area in the Midwest. There's not a nude bar within 20 miles of here. Back in my hometown in FL there's at least 6 nude bars within a 5 mile radius.

Sex offender ratio:

Here 1 per 60 persons
FL 1 per 250 persons

Perhaps they should tear down a couple churches around here and open some nude bars.

I'd rather they watch porn than go after little boys or strange men in public restrooms.

190 of the the 250 in Florida are under orders from their cardiologists to stay away from the nude bars.

From the article:

After controlling for differences in broadband internet access between states – online porn tends to be a bandwidth hog – and adjusting for population, he found a relatively small difference between states with the most adult purchases and those with the fewest.

We saw none of the data, none of the science, nothing. Just a guy looking at receipts.

What's scary is that these are the same "scientists" in charge of Global Warming.

If you'll excuse me, I have some porn to download.

Kind of interesting.

The highest rates of sexual misconduct also occur in oppressive Middle Eastern countries. Such cultures try to suppress peoples' freedom. Same reason so many Catholic priests turn to deviant behavior.

If they would just let them indulge in empty sexuality, the people would get bored pretty quickly and move on to more interesting and perhaps even spiritual pursuits.
And here I was thinking DC, IL and LA lead in crimes. Apparently it's our churches that are the most violent and perverted.

Maybe you should look into where all the money and power went with the left's favorite character, FDR. Yet who wines the loudest about how bad the south is and how much despair is there... ... You guessed it. The big D democrats

The Encyclopedia of Public Choice - Google Book Search

Quote:
Wrights presidential vote-buying model of New Deal spending thus supplies a public choice explanation for why the solidly democratic south received proportionally less federal aid than other regions of the country.

Similar finding emerged when investigated the allocation of WPA across states.
